Misery was overwhelming at first for the sheer amount of items to use. I am starving and need rid of tapeworms." "Ey, Sid! You wants bad bullets? I gots bad bullets! You wants jar of teeth? I gots jar of teeth! You want deck of cards? You can has! One-fifteenth of price! Please just buy. Adds a sorrowful dimension that makes you think of them as more than an AI. Plus, there's moments where a good stalker dies and you find a photograph of a woman on his body or something similar. So many ways to accomplish what you need to do. Oh, and it's tough as SHIT.Īlso, the sheer amount of items added to the game were overwhelming at first, but ended up being awesome. You have to enjoy going slow and taking your time, watching the horizon, watching your ass, having a backup plan, finding safety by firelight when things get dark. You have to really think about what is essential, and whether or not you can afford to go broke for a couple of days after buying that thing you needed. I go on thorough scavenging runs where I disassemble broken equipment for small springs and triggers to turn a profit. My game is more about just trying to survive from place to place, finding somewhere to sleep during the night, making sure I have ample mutant meat and cigarettes to counter-act the radiation, etc. It's absolutely incredible, but you have to like the survival aspect of STALKER to enjoy it. Just returned to STALKER after two years. What mods/add ons are you stalkers using? It killed all of them and then slowly slid back into place.

I also watched 3 cats and a fracture actually break the downstairs door off of the hinges. Also worthy of note, the hostile npcs don't fight each other as much as they should. Beard had a joint in his inventory and that was it. I ended up just killing everybody on the Skadovsk boat when I realised there was no hope.

Plus it will cause you to crash and need sleep more often. You can drink energy drinks, but it does not quench your thirst as well as water does. I've gone to various traders and tried to buy it off of npcs also. I can't find any more potable drinking water. I was doing very well completing the non bugged out tasks and farming zombies/hostile npcs in various locations until I ran into a game breaking bug or game mechanic. I played through the game a good bit and actually got a good supply of weapons and cash. Very interesting and scary to see happen. Come to think of it, I have never seen any mutants actually walk up the plank from the smaller boat at all before. I have never seen zombies, fractures, cats, snorks as well as other mutants actually get inside of Skadovsk until I played Last Day. I have played Misery 2.2 a good bit and Call of Misery also. Obviously it is very buggy, but some of the bugs kind of make it more fun.

I am curious as to what other folks think about this add on or what experiences they have had. Noticed there are not any let's plays in English on youtube.
